Vintage Vaillancourt Folk Art Father Christmas Santa, 1990 - USA. Vaillancourt Folk Art, founded 1984, Sutton MA, is known for iconic chalk ware Santas. This Winter season Santa's helper, designed by Judi Vaillancourt, is hand crafted from heirloom chocolate molds, and hand painted with artisan oil paints and glaze. The blue-eyed Santa wears green mittens, a gold sack and bears switches in his right hand for naughty children. The mold #107 was copyrighted 1985; this Santa is #1060 made in 1990.
